DDI pump remote control via Profibus DP V0
The DDI family of digital pumps with optional Profibus DP V0 can easily be integrated into automated dosing processes. From a central control station, operators can monitor their digital PLCnetworked digital dosing™ pumps using remote diagnosis and easily control all the main functions remotely. This includes, for example, remote deaeration of the dosing head.
Communication via Profibus allows remote control in the following modes:

Manual: Dosing quantity specified on site or via Profibus |

Current-signal control 0 (4) to 20 mA: Dosing quantity controlled via the incoming current signal, signal amplification set via Profibus |

|
Contact-signal control: Dosing quantity controlled via contact pulses (e.g. water meter), volume for each pulse set via Profibus. |
While the central PLC controls the dosing pump via the Profibus interface with the help of control signals, the DDI pump provides information on dosing capacity and volume, pump status messages and all error messages.
