The acclaimed Digital Dosing™ pumps from Grundfos Alldos can now handle up to 940 l/h
When Grundfos Alldos first launched its Digital Dosing™ range in 2000, the market for precise
pump technology was changed. Here was a series of pumps that made it easier than ever to get accurate
dosing. Now, by popular demand, the range becomes even wider.
The year 2007 will see Grundfos Alldos launching its latest additions to the Digital Dosing™ product
portfolio. This gives even more users the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of Digital DosingTM
throughout the entire scale of dosing requirements from 2.5 ml/h up to 940 l/h. The large Digital
DosingTM pumps bring the digital difference to a wide variety of industries, water treatment companies,
chemical suppliers, and much more.
New products based on a revolutionary design
The new DME pumps have a proud heritage: the Digital Dosing™ series represents the most revolutionary
innovation within dosing pumps in recent years. Grundfos Alldos has developed all-new drive technology
and principles to create a range of pumps that combine precision and user-friendliness on a higher level
than ever before. A variety of motor concepts have been employed to ensure smooth and even dosing in all
situations. The simple control panel and logical display menu allows users to enter the desired dosage
in the safe knowledge that what they set is what they get.
Full range of functions
Digital Dosing™ pumps offer a range of features and functions to suit all applications. From simple
versions to pumps capable of handling very complex tasks without losing their user-friendliness.
The list of functions includes manual control, full pulse control, analog control, timer-based batch
control, and pulse-based batch control. A number of unique features can be added to this list, including
an efficient anti-cavitation function for high-viscosity liquids. Digital DosingTM pumps can be integrated
into a wide range of automated process systems via an optional Profibus module.
New features on new pumps
The large DME pumps introduced in 2007 have a number of new features to make life even easier for users.
Examples include overload protection for complete peace of mind, dosing monitoring, and little details such
as the opportunity to read the alarm status in the display. All the new features are designed to improve
day-to-day performance in real-life applications.
