Rand Water is one of the largest
waterworks worldwide with a capacity of 4,8 Mio m³
per day for the water supply of 10 millions
of people in a radius of 18.000 km2. The two principal works are
situated
in the industrial centre of South Africa. 8 different Grundfos Alldos chlorine
stations with a capacity of up to 120 kg disinfect the water using
chlorine gas. More than 100 dosing pumps provide daily fresh water,
controlled and monitored by a full-automatic measuring and control
system. Grundfos Alldos is the proud partner of Rand Water for more than
25 years.
