Etron Profi modernizes
DMX model 221, DMX model 226 and DMH models 25x251 / 252 / 253 / 254 / 255 / 257 series pumps
– tried-and-tested control electronics with a host of new functions
Three years ago we successfully merged Etron Profi with our dosing pumps. But
now ALLDOS has gone one better - the control electronics that have proven so
popular with our customers have been given a range of exciting new functions
and features for use in the DMX model 221, DMX model 226 and DMH models 25x 251 to DMH models 25x 253 pump series.
The code function protects against unauthorized access
One of the major innovations is the code function. This can be used, as with
a mobile phone, to completely disable the keypad, thereby preventing unauthorized
use. It also ensures that the parameters cannot be changed by mistake.
The dosing controller can be switched on and off with ease
Depending on the particular dosing process, you can now work with or without
dosing controllers without having to perform time-consuming conversion work.
The memory function stores contact signals that have not been executed
and saves them for execution later
For “contact signal control” mode there is now a user-friendly memory
function for incoming signals that have not been executed. If the pump is unable
to completely convert all incoming contact signals into dosing strokes due to
their high frequency, the memory function simply stores these signals until they
can be executed later by the pump.
The current signals can be spread out to give you flexibility in customized
dosing processes
Another new feature is that the incoming current signals can now be spread out
so that they can be optimally weighted for the particular dosing process. Whereas
previously 20 mA automatically meant 100% dosing and 0 or 4 mA (depending on
the range) was equivalent to 0%, the operator can now link dosing capacity to
specific current signal values. For example, dosing can start at 10 mA or reach
100% at 15 mA.
The service-hours counter indicates the total
operating time
The new integrated service-hours counter
is just one further example of the user-friendliness of the new
Etron Profi.
Switch between make contact and break contact at the touch
of a button
This is a new feature that many customers will warmly welcome – particularly
important functions can be switched easily from make contact to
break contact and vice versa at the touch of a button via a second
expert level.
The following functions support this feature:
 |
|
Remote
OFF |
 |
|
Empty and
pre-alert signals |
 |
|
Error signal |
 |
|
Stroke
/ pre-alert signal |
It is also easy to switch over the following
functions:
 |
|
Relay function
to stroke or pre-alert signal |
 |
|
Stroke
sensor to ON or OFF |
Super-easy configuration and operation – that’s
our goal
All these new functions and technical innovations underline ALLDOS’s commitment
to making our units as easy as possible to operate. The new Etron Profi succeeds
in this right down to the smallest detail.
Of course you should always read the operating instructions – but once
you have done so you should be able to proceed without them.
